Elegant Interior Designs

These projects all involved paint/wallpaper selection, furniture layout, lighting changes, and styling with art and objects to tell the family's story.

In this room, outdated wallpaper and an out of proportion chandelier were removed. Walls were painted a bright, fresh shade and a new, more modern chandelier placed. We applied a patterned wallpaper to the ceiling to hide small cracks in the plaster (that were deemed surface and non-structural).

This room was dark and gloomy with dark paint, heavy drapes and inefficient lighting. We lightened it up with paint, window treatment changes and added lighting.

This sweet sitting space between the children's rooms already had the scallop-trim daybed but was layered in a dark plaid wallpaper and heavy drapes. We brightened the space to fit with the scalloped daybed by removing the wallpaper, selecting a light paint color, installing a little chandelier and adding pops of color with art and linens.

This little entryway was plain with grey walls and a flush mount light. We added trim and wallpaper to add visual interest, a rug to warm up the floor, a new light fixture and simple styling.

This living room felt dark with a large fireplace of dark, dingy brick. The entire space was transformed by painting the brick! The rest was just styling and furniture placement.
